In the US, a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots completed training on the F-16
A group of pilots from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has completed training for F-16 fighter pilots at the Air National Guard base in Arizona. This was reported by TASS, citing the press service of the National Guard.
Arizona Air National Guard spokeswoman Erin Hannigan said there are plans to train 12 Ukrainian pilots this year.
Earlier it was reported that Norway would soon transfer six F-16 fighters to Ukraine. In addition to the fighters, representatives of Ukraine and Norway discussed the supply of air defense systems.
The Netherlands previously allowed Ukrainian forces to use the transferred F-16 fighters for strikes against Russia, including for operations in Russian airspace.
