The Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the capsizing of the dry cargo ship Grigory Lovtsov on Sakhalin. This was reported via the agency's Telegram channel.

Sakhalin Governor Valery Limarenko reported the incident on the morning of October 18. According to him, the incident occurred in the port of Korsakov. According to preliminary information, the vessel tilted and capsized due to overload.

The crew of the Grigoriy Lovtsov consisted of seven people. At the moment, four people have been rescued. Search and rescue operations are currently ongoing in the port.

In September, a boat capsized on the Bolshoy Yenisei River in the Republic of Tuva. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred near the Khutinsky rapids. There were three people in the boat. I did not find two of them.

A sailing yacht, which had previously arrived from another country, ran aground near Kronstadt.
