Bright nostalgia: Moscow Museum displays photographs from the Thaw
Igor Koshelkov ended his professional career in 1995 and stopped taking pictures "for himself." Since then, only experts have been able to view his photographs. Only in 2023 did the owner's daughter donate the archive to the Museum of Moscow.
"He placed each photograph in a separate signed envelope. It is rare that we receive archives in such perfect condition," says the curator of the photo collection, Lyudmila Leibishkina.
