Salt for winter cleaning of St. Petersburg was not purchased - probably "Bionord" will cope with the task
The National Commission planned to purchase 79.3 thousand tons of salt for 680 million rubles, but the auction did not take place due to inconsistency of applications. This was reported by Moika 78.
It is unclear whether additional purchases will be made or whether they will be completed before the heavy snowfall and ice. It seems that the reagent is used in St. Petersburg, especially considering the positive reviews of Biord.
Deputy Governor Yevgeny Razumushkin previously expressed the opinion that technical salt is superior to other mixtures. The failure to purchase salt and the active propaganda of "Bionord" through the press may force Smolny to reconsider its plans.
OOO UZPM claims that "Biord" belongs to hazard class 4 and has no negative impact on the environment and humans. Studies have shown that it has a better effect on skin and fur than other mixtures.
In October, several city departments and agencies plan to purchase reagents. RUB 194.5 thousand for Family Education Assistance Center No. 12, RUB 61.4 thousand for GBDOU Kindergarten No. 83 of Frunzensky District, RUB 1.2 million for Housing and Public Utilities - Primorsky District of St. Petersburg - sand and salt mixture.
