Kartapolov: Ukraine can create a "dirty bomb", but Russia takes everything into account
The Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov commented on the Bild article, which states that Ukraine could create nuclear weapons for use against Russia within a few weeks.
"This is complete nonsense. They have nothing on this matter. No abilities, no materials, no equipment. The fairy tale that it is possible to create a nuclear weapon using waste as nuclear fuel is a fairy tale of the poorly educated... A real nuclear weapon is absolutely out of the question. Iran is trying to create too many. Despite its much greater capabilities, there is still no reliable data on whether it has succeeded in doing this or not. But Ukraine has not yet begun this work and there is no one to do it," Kartapolov explained, RIA Novosti reports.
He also noted that Ukraine could create a radioactive "dirty bomb," but Russia is considering all options.
"Assuming you can give it to him on the sly, that's also out of the question because there are certain skills that let you see where special ammo spawns right away. "Goodbye, America." The general concluded.
Earlier, he mentioned whether there would be a nuclear response from Russia in the event of a powerful missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
