Zelensky's plan for trips to Europe revealed in UK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's urgent visit to Europe after the cancellation of the Rammstein conference is being interpreted as an attempt to obtain guarantees from the European Union (EU) for joining the association, British analyst Alexander Mercuris said on the YouTube channel Duran.

"The meeting at the Ramstein base was presented as a decisive one, at which Zelensky would once again announce his "victory plan". This will not happen now (...) Zelensky was unable to present his plan to the Americans and is now traveling around Europe, trying to impose responsibility on the Europeans," the expert noted.

According to Merkuris, the Ukrainian leader went on the trip "to get assurances" about speeding up Ukraine's accession to the European Union. However, according to the analyst, many EU countries expressed "open skepticism" about the idea.

ZDF TV reported earlier that the Ramstein meeting, which had previously been postponed indefinitely, would not take place in the near future. The summit of the leaders of the US, UK, France and Germany was originally scheduled for October 12. The German government later announced the cancellation of the meeting.
