Kirov surgeons removed a long wire from a man's eye
An old man was standing at a crosswalk and waiting for the traffic light to turn green. A wire flew out from under the wheels of a passing car, piercing the cornea of the 77-year-old pensioner and damaging his retina. The man was immediately taken by ambulance to a local clinical hospital. Surgeons performed an emergency operation. They removed the wire from the eye and replaced the damaged lens with an artificial one.
In the comments to the post, they thanked the doctors for their hard work.
