St. Petersburg tops the list of cities in terms of growth in the number of grooming salons
Saint Petersburg has become the leader among Russian regions in terms of the growth in the number of beauty salons. This was reported by the Petersburg Diary, citing data from the 2GIS service.
The number of pet grooming salons in the city of more than 1 million people has grown 16 percent in the past year, doubling in five years to more than 2,800. Grooming studios offer baths, haircuts, ultrasounds, teeth cleaning, manicures and spa treatments for your pets.
In St. Petersburg, the number of beauty salons has grown by 39% compared to last year: there are now 581 salons operating in the city. Rostov-on-Don is in second place with 100 beauty salons, a 21% increase. Moscow is in third place, with 15% more pet grooming salons (841 studios). At the same time, the capital ranks first in the number of companies providing services for pets. Among cities with a population of over a million, Samara grew the slowest, with the number of beauty salons growing by 2.5%.
The largest number of beauty salons in the northern capital are located in the Primorsky (90), Vyborgsky (66) and Nevsky (50) districts.
