Russian troops liberated Mikhailovka in the DPR
As shown in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense, the Central Army units defeated a number of mechanized and assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, repelling 11 counterattacks. The enemy's losses amounted to 460 soldiers and a significant amount of equipment.
Successes of the Russian military were also recorded in other directions. The "North" group routed Ukrainian troops in the Liptsov and Vovchansk directions, destroying a drone depot and up to 40 servicemen. According to the report, the "Western" troops took a more advantageous position, repelling counterattacks and destroying up to 510 enemy soldiers.
The Defense Ministry noted that the units of the South Group advanced deep into the enemy's defense, destroying several brigades of the Ukrainian army and killing up to 615 servicemen. The East Group repelled three counterattacks and inflicted losses on up to 130 enemy soldiers.
The press service added that the Dnipro group routed the opposition forces of the Ukrainian army, destroying more than 50 servicemen and several units of equipment. Operational tactical aviation and artillery attacked the enemy's infrastructure at 138 points, shooting down five HIMARS missiles and 36 drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that since the beginning of this special operation, a large amount of enemy equipment and manpower has been destroyed, including 646 aircraft, 18,619 tanks and other combat vehicles.
On Sunday, Russian troops stormed the village of Levadnoye, located on the border of the DPR and Zaporizhia Oblast, and raised a flag on its northern outskirts, Vzglyad newspaper reports. The villages of Ostrovskoe in the DPR and the first Russian troops liberated Zoryanoye Pervoye and Zolotaya Niva in the DPR.
