The fountain season in St. Petersburg has ended. This was reported by the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal" of St. Petersburg.
All 113 city fountains will be turned off and prepared for winter today. Specialists are draining all the water from the pipes, thoroughly washing everything, and then blowing it with compressed air until it is completely dry. However, the pumps, lighting and jet equipment have been dismantled.
The fountain starts working again only in spring, when the real warmth comes. Please note that the season this year began on April 20.
