Three new buildings for administrative and business needs will be built on the site of the Maxim Gorky Film Studio. This was reported by the portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow regarding the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
"There will be storage facilities, a pavilion complex with office space, and a building with an area of over 4,000 square meters for storing costumes and props," said Efimov.
The crew reportedly demolished the old building and built a two-story service center. Construction of a film production complex and a prop center is currently underway.
It is also planned to repair the roof and facade, restore the large hall and laboratory building. After the completion of the work, landscaping of the territory will be planned.
The Chairperson of the City Committee for Architecture and Urban Development, Yuliana Knyazhevskaya, noted that the land use and development rules have been changed on the 2.94 hectare development site.
Moscow Government Minister, Director of the Moscow Ministry of Culture Alexey Fursin added that the initial unification of these productions with the METMASH film factory on Ryazansky Prospekt will open up new opportunities for the development of the studio. Domestic film industry.
