Residents of a Sverdlovsk village underwent a comprehensive examination at a mobile clinic

SYSERT, October 14, FederalPress. Last weekend, residents of the village of Novoipatovo in the Sysertsky District underwent an in-depth diagnostic examination at a field medical center. According to the press service of the St. Catherine Foundation, two medical modules arrived in the village.

An improvised outpatient clinic was set up on the territory of the Archangel Michael Church, and the canteen was temporarily converted into a hospital ward. Students from the Sverdlovsk Regional Medical University and specialists from the regional branch of the Red Cross took part in the tests.

Local residents had few opportunities to go to the district center for an in-depth investigation, so dozens of people, including those from nearby villages, gathered near the church. The diagnostic procedure was preceded by a prayer service conducted by the rector of the church, Andrei Kostarev.

Those who wished could receive consultations from cardiologists and ophthalmologists. We selected frames and lenses for those who need vision correction. Within a week, each patient will receive a pair of ready-made glasses from the patron as a gift.

For the younger generation, the church has organized seminars on first aid for strokes, heart attacks, serious injuries and bleeding. It is assumed that such training will help to avoid panic in extreme situations.

As FederalPress writes, the Church of Archangel Michael was revived by the efforts of local residents and the founders of the St. Catherine Foundation. Artists are finishing painting the interior walls of the church. Meanwhile, this place was consecrated two years ago, and the Eucharist is already celebrated there.
