Sketch of monument to heroes of special military operation presented in Gelendzhik
The sketch of the monument has already been prepared and submitted to the city administration on October 14.
A monument to the fallen special forces members will be erected in Gelendzhik. This was announced by the city's mayor, Alexey Bogodistov, on his Telegram channel on October 14.
"Together with the families of the fallen soldiers who took part in special combat operations, we decided to erect a monument to perpetuate the memory of the heroes," the mayor of Gelendzhik wrote. - We supported the initiatives of the families of the fallen regarding the location of future monuments. We will erect the monument on the territory of the "70 Years of Victory" park in the Tonkiy Mys microdistrict. We discussed the draft solution proposed by the architect.
According to the authors' idea, the monument will consist of two parts, symbolizing the continuity of the past and the future. They will be united by the "Z" symbol, which has become a symbol of special military operations. Memorial walls with images of fallen heroes will be installed on both sides of the monument.
Let me remind you that a monument to the heroes of special operations was unveiled in Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The sculpture was installed in a park in the city center to mark Flag Day.
