MK.RU: Former Deputy Head of Tula Region Burned Alive at His Dacha in Moscow Region
Stanislav Shedenkov, former deputy governor of the Tula region, burned down at his dacha in the Pushkinsky urban district near Moscow. This is reported by mk.ru.
According to the publication, the tragedy was caused by careless handling of the fireplace. On the day of the incident with the 73-year-old former civil servant, his friend was at home and was able to escape the fire.
Shedenkov headed the administration of the Novomoskovsk district of the Tula region. In 1996, he was appointed deputy governor of the region. He then moved to Moscow, where he held various positions. He was the head of the administration of the Kapotnyansky district and deputy head of the South-East region.
A similar, but less tragic situation occurred the day before at the rented apartment of rapper Instasamka in the center of Moscow. The writer's house almost burned down due to a faulty fireplace and poor ventilation.
On the afternoon of November 4, a fire broke out in the ventilation system, smoke began to come out from under the roof of the house, as a result of which the roof caught fire. Two people were evacuated from the apartment, there were no casualties. As a result, 65㎡ of the attic completely burned down, 15 m2 of the apartment was damaged along with personal belongings and furniture.
