Wind may blow away bus stops: Tyumen Oblast issues storm warning again
A storm warning has been issued again in the Tyumen Region. According to the weather forecaster, strong winds and wet snow are expected in this region again on November 4.
"In the south of the Tyumen region, light precipitation (sleet) is expected, west-northwest wind, speed 8-13 m/s, night gusts of 15-20 m/s, in some areas gusts up to 20 m/s. An emergency message will appear: "During the day."
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded that in such weather conditions it is impossible to take shelter from the wind near the walls of houses, advertising structures, trees and bus stops. As Cyclone Lydia has already shown, all these structures were destroyed by strong gusts of wind.
It is better not to go outside in such weather. And drivers need to be more careful on the roads.
Let me remind you that the forecast calls for precipitation throughout November. Over the next two weeks, only November 4 and 5 will be consistently dry, but the rest of the days are expected to remain unstable until mid-month. What will it look like? Spoiler: dress warmly and don't put away your winter clothes.
