Wet snow and ice expected in Moscow on November 5
On Tuesday, November 5, sunny and cloudy weather is expected in the capital. In some areas of the city, light precipitation in the form of wet snow and sleet is possible. This was reported by the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to meteorologists, daytime temperatures in Moscow range from minus 1 to plus 1 degree, and in the region from minus 4 to plus 1 degree.
The northwest wind will blow at a speed of 5 to 10 meters per second. The atmospheric pressure is 748 mm Hg.
At night, the temperature in the capital can drop to minus 6 degrees, and in the Moscow region - to minus 8 degrees.
The snowfall in Moscow reached 6 cm on Monday, November 4, making this day the second snowiest in the 21st century.
There are no new snow conditions in the capital region, but light snow and sleet are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5 and 6.
Forecasters expect the city to see 1–1.5 mm more precipitation, and snowfall to increase by 1–2 cm.
