Musk Ditches Oslo Business Dinner Because It's Expensive
Elon Musk, the American businessman and owner of the social network, has refused. This was reported by the Norwegian newspaper E24.
The publication has obtained correspondence between Tangen and Musk. The Norwegian invited the American to a business dinner on April 28, 2025, which will also be attended by the heads of Ferrari, Novo Nordisk, Nestle, DoorDash, Adidas and others.
Musk initially accepted the invitation and said, "That would be cool," but it later emerged that he would not be able to attend the event.
"He said it would be difficult and expensive to participate," Marte Skor, the oil fund's director of public relations, told the newspaper.
The publication noted that over the summer, Tangen's relationship with Musk became more tense.
