The State Duma has warned which pensioners may have their pension payments stopped
This was reported by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy, and Veterans' Affairs. DEITA.RU reports this.
According to her, pension payments are most often stopped for Russians who have problems with the loss of an educational certificate or means of subsistence. Therefore, difficulties may arise in the process of assigning a pension, especially since foreign educational institutions have not adopted a single document format.
At the same time, as the deputy explained, the SFR can request the necessary information from educational institutions each time, and only after confirmation of the necessary information can the citizen's right to receive a pension be restored. In principle, payments are resumed as soon as possible, Bessarab noted.
As a result, pensions will start being paid again from the first day of the month after the citizen submits the relevant application and confirms that the non-compliance with the pension provision criteria has been eliminated. After that, all the money that people were supposed to receive for the entire period of suspension of payments was paid, writes "Parliamentary newspaper".
