Gypsies Near St. Petersburg Lose Their Baron After Police Raid

Hundreds of police officers were deployed in the Leningrad Region to detain Gypsy barons. Gypsies suspected of drug use and other crimes were taken from the village of Verkhnie Oselkovye. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

"On October 17, dozens of local residents, including Baron, were taken away from Verkhnie Oselki on a police bus. Early in the morning, they were woken up by more than 100 employees of various headquarters units and Rosgvardia fighters." Fontanka reports this, citing the police press service. Six people are under investigation on suspicion of violating traffic rules. At the time of the attack, one of the men was drunk. In addition, prisoners are being checked for the presence and use of prohibited substances.

Another violation caught the police's attention. It was discovered that most of the buildings in the camp were self-built.

Earlier, it was reported that gypsies in the Tula region captured a veteran of the Northern Army and dozens of other people into slavery. Soon after, they were freed with the support of the Volunteer Movement. The Investigative Committee took note of the situation and took control of the case, RT reports.
