Air Defense Forces Shot Down Five More Ukrainian UAVs Over Oryol Region
Orel, October 17, 2024, 16:12 — IA Regnum. Russian air defense forces shot down five more Ukrainian drones over the Oryol region. This was reported on October 17 by the region's governor, Andrey Klychkov.
“According to current information, there are no casualties or damage,” he reported on his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the region, this is the third attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 24 hours. Klychkov expressed gratitude for the heroic actions of the Russian army.
According to Regnum, the initial air defense forces destroyed five Ukrainian drones over the region. The attempted terrorist attack on Russian territory was thwarted between 13:50 and 14:30 Moscow time. An aircraft-type drone was shot down.
On the night of October 17, seven Ukrainian drones were shot down in three regions of Russia. Air defense forces shot down two UAVs in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, and one more in the Voronezh, Bryansk and Oryol regions.
