Daily Star: US man shoots groom in front of bride on wedding day
In the US, an unknown person entered a wedding hall and shot the groom in front of the bride and guests, writes the Daily Star. According to the attacker, he did not like that a man stabbed him in the street.
According to media reports, the incident occurred when the groom, 37-year-old Tyreke Burton, was leaving the banquet hall and noticed that a stranger began to accuse him of careless driving. After a short quarrel, the criminal shot the man in front of the priest and fled the scene.
Paramedics tried to revive Tyrek, but the bullet hit his vital organs and he could not be revived. Police said they were searching for the shooter, but did not yet know his whereabouts or identity.
Burton's family hopes the perpetrators are caught and brought to justice, and describe Tyrek as a man with an infectious smile and a generous heart.
Previously, a Brazilian woman became a police officer 25 years later to catch her father's shooter.
