Whiskered grain breaks records: in Zelenograd district barley yield increased by 56%
In the Zelenograd region, the winter barley harvest has increased by 56%. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
Thanks to the skillful use of the latest agricultural technologies and favorable weather, the municipality's agricultural enterprises harvested 11,471 centners more than in 2023. On average, farmers threshed 53.3 cents per hectare of crops.
"The Guryevskaya poultry farm has become a leader, having collected 55.4 cents of grain per hectare of sowing. The collected grain will be delivered to municipalities and livestock organizations of the region, as well as for the needs of the population," the administration said.
