Russian woman went on an excursion to Turkey and broke her back
A Russian tourist broke her back in an accident while on holiday in Turkey. She reported this on the Telegram channel "Attention, News".
It turned out that 21-year-old Valeria bought a ticket from the Anex travel agency and went to the resort in August last year. Upon arrival, she also bought tickets for an excursion from a company representative. As part of a group, the travelers were supposed to see natural attractions, but the bus flew into a ditch.
Valeria was taken to Milas Hospital with severe injuries. The girl was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebra. Doctors had to install titanium pins, after which the Russian woman spent another five days in Turkey. Although the operation was covered by insurance, the victim herself covered the costs of additional treatment.
The tourist wrote a complaint to Anex, stating that the incident had left her unable to work, limited her physical activity, and prevented her from giving birth naturally. She demanded compensation, but the travel agency representative refused. They noted that they were not responsible for the trip.
Last July, Russian tourists decided to sue their tour operator after falling from a tourist attraction during their holiday in Turkey. The young man had to walk on crutches after falling from a rope and hitting his back hard.
