- From February 1, maternity capital will be indexed according to the actual inflation rate. Today, the growth rate is expected to be 7.3%. If the family has not received alimony for the first child, then it costs about 677,000 rubles for the first child and almost 894,000 rubles for the second child. The increase was 46 thousand rubles and almost 61 thousand rubles, respectively," he said.
Let us recall that former Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to extend the reproductive capital program until the end of 2026. He also recalled that the circle of recipients of payments has expanded. Now applications can be submitted by families raising their first child.
This money can now be used to improve living conditions, education, medical treatment and retirement. Maternity capital can also be used to purchase domestically produced cars.
