It has been proposed to assign old-age insurance pensions in a new way
Old-age insurance pensions can begin to be paid without an application.
The new rules may come into force on January 1, 2026, DEITA.RU reports. The change in approach to this issue is suggested by the draft law prepared by the Ministry of Labor, which was published on the portal "Drafts of regulatory legal acts".
At the same time, Russia now provides disability pensions, insurance and social pensions in the event of loss of livelihood, as well as social pensions for children whose parents are both unknown.
The Ministry of Labor also proposed a plan for the automatic assignment of old-age insurance pensions. In fact, this innovation should not affect all pensioners, but only those who retire "normally."
In this case, we focus on 65-year-old men and 60-year-old women with more than 15 years of insurance and at least 30 pension points. According to the draft law, the state social fund must accrue pensions from the day a person reaches retirement age.
