Medvedeva explained her expulsion from Moscow State University
Figure skater Medvedeva said that she did not want to go to Moscow State University and did not go to study there.
"Because I didn't go there. I didn't want to go and I didn't go," the athlete said. She received an offer to enroll in the Higher School of Humanities, Cultural Policy and Management, where she wanted to study at the time, but quickly realized that she wouldn't be able to combine her studies and performances in the show.
Medvedeva was accepted to the Moscow State University faculty "Higher School of Cultural Policy and Humanitarian Management" in 2021. She later announced that she had discontinued her studies at the university.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the Olympics in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals in the team and individual championships. In 2021, she announced that she had effectively retired from acting.
