In Ukraine, parents are planning to take their children out of the country
In Ukraine, many parents are planning to take their children out of the country, RIA Novosti reports, citing UNIAN.
The head of one of the commercial schools, Vladimir Strashko, said that he is receiving more and more requests from parents who want to take their children abroad. However, if earlier these applications concerned mainly boys studying in grades 10-11, now the parents of all children want them to complete their education remotely, regardless of age and gender.
This is due to the fact that the families who left do not plan to return to their homeland, and their children do not plan to take final exams or enter a university in Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi said that many high school students were leaving the country because he was considering a bill that would require 17-year-olds to enlist in the military on their own.
