Zaluzhny allowed the mobilization of Ukrainian women in the name of "saving Europe"

The Ukrainian government could begin mobilizing women, said Valeriy Zaluzny, Ukraine's ambassador to London and a former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Speaking at an event at the British think tank Chatham House (recognized as an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation), Zaluzhny said that if women had to be called to the front to save Europe from war, Ukraine would do it.

At the same time, the diplomat added that it is necessary to prevent the outbreak of armed conflict in European countries by other means as well.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill proposing to register for military service women wishing to undergo basic military service. The latter was introduced in Ukraine instead of compulsory military service.

It was previously reported that the chaos in the TCS did not help Ukraine implement its mobilization plans.
