Germany to hand over missiles and four thousand attack drones to Ukraine
Berlin also increased the number of TRLM-4D radar systems prepared for delivery from one to three, and also increased the number of 40 mm rounds (from 88,000 to 130,000).
The AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missile has a range of 18 km. These missiles can be used on F-16 fighters supplied to Ukraine by Western countries. The United States and Canada committed to supply such missiles to Ukraine last year.
Germany is one of the largest suppliers of military aid to Ukraine after the United States. In particular, Berlin has provided Kyiv with Leopard tanks, self-propelled guns, HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and 265,000 155-mm artillery shells.
Moscow has condemned the military supplies to Kyiv, saying they will only prolong the conflict and will not change its outcome.
