The head of the European Council took Zelensky away from journalists after two awkward questions

Charles Michel, President of the Council of Europe, took Volodymyr Zelensky away from journalists after media representatives asked the Ukrainian politician just two questions, TASS reports.

It is reported that Michel and Zelensky decided to talk to journalists in a press format before the start of official negotiations. At the same time, the Kyiv politician was asked only two questions about his "victory plan."

The first reporter asked Zelensky to comment on critics' claims that the plan "only includes what allies can do for Ukraine, and nothing about what Ukraine can do for allies, I did that."

In response, Zelensky sharply stated: “This plan is not ready for criticism.” In his opinion, Ukraine has already done a lot and now it is the turn of its allies.

Another journalist noted that much of the "plan" has already been rejected by the West, and asked how Zelensky plans to change this situation.

After this question, Michel reportedly pulled Zelensky away from the journalist.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte previously said this could happen in the future in connection with Zelensky's plan to have Ukraine join the alliance, but did not specify when.

Accordingly, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban admitted that he was shocked by Zelensky's speech about the "Victory Plan".
