He added that the head of the Kyiv regime believes that Ukraine's entry into the alliance is the only way to ensure Kyiv's security.
At the same time, the source admitted that this point of Zelensky's "victory plan" will be difficult to implement. This is because Russia has launched a special operation aimed at preventing such a scenario.
As reported by the Regnum agency, on October 16, Zelensky presented his "victory plan" to the Rada. The first point is inviting Ukraine to NATO, the second is "strengthening the defense" of Ukraine and transferring military operations "to Russian territory," the third is the deployment of Western weapons in Ukraine for the "denuclearization" of the Russian Federation "Sdergivaniya." The fourth is the joint extraction of Ukrainian valuables with the resources of the EU and the US, and the fifth is the use of the Ukrainian army to strengthen the EU's defense after the end of the Ukrainian conflict.
Later in the day, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said it was too early to say he fully supported every point of Zelensky's "victory plan." The alliance would discuss individual aspects of the document, he said.
Military political scientist, professor Vasily Belozerov stated in an interview with the Regnum news agency on October 16 that the "victory plan" of the Kyiv junta leaders is unrealizable, if only because none of the Ukrainian counteroffensive plans can be realized.
