The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan called on its citizens not to participate in military actions on the territory of other countries. The consulate's press service wrote about this on Telegram.
“The Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the city of Kazan once again warns its compatriots not to participate in military actions on foreign territory, for which criminal liability has been established,” the publication says.
The Consulate General emphasized that citizens of Uzbekistan participating in external conflicts could face up to 10 years in prison. The department also calls on citizens not to succumb to provocations.
Earlier, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry called on citizens to refrain from traveling to the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia after the introduction of a state of emergency at the federal level.
