The decision on the construction of the K-95 and K-125 ski jumps on Sennaya has not yet been made.
The authorities are studying the concept of building ski jumps on Sennaya Square and Shchelokovsky Khutor in Nizhny Novgorod, but the final decision has not yet been made. This was reported to NewsNN by the local sports department.
Let me remind you that the Sennaya Square ski jump was previously included in the register of unfinished buildings. In 2014, construction was stopped. Now the athletics department reports that the decision to resume construction of such large-scale facilities as the K-95 and K-125 ski jumps must be made at the federal level. The money must come from here. The Russian Ministry of Sports is forming a development program for 2025-2030. The Sennaya ski jump could also be used, but nothing is known for sure yet. The authorities also plan to restore the K-10, K-20 and K-30 ski jumps at the Kuznechikha sports base near the Shchelokovsky farm. Local residents have long been demanding this, and President Vladimir Putin recently issued a corresponding decree. We also purchased a K-6 jumping simulator for School 131, which has a ski area for 85 people. The equipment is planned to be installed by the end of the year.
