Pushilin announced fighting within the city limits of Dzerzhinsk
After inspecting the liberated Dzerzhinsk (Ukrainian name - Toretsk), the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated that part of the city's infrastructure was lost and could not be restored. In particular, municipal buildings were destroyed.
Pushilin emphasized that the fighting within the Dzerzhinsk area continues and that complete liberation is "just around the corner." The head of the DPR noted that a complete cleansing of the city will allow Russian troops to advance further north, deep into the republic.
TASS sources in the security forces previously reported that Ukrainian forces had begun a partial withdrawal of troops from Dzerzhinsk.
