Zhirkov spoke about the lack of understanding of young people
Former Russian national team player Zhirkov said that he has nothing to talk about with the youth.
Former Russian national team footballer Yuri Zhirkov spoke about the difficulties of communicating with young people. His comments are reported by RB Sport.
Zhirkov admitted that in recent years he has not understood at all how to communicate and the interests of young people, since the national team has completely different ones. "I have absolutely nothing to talk about with young people. They have other games. We used to have hockey and football, and now we have Minecraft and other useless nonsense monsters," he said.
Earlier, Zhirkov disclosed the amount of his monthly expenses. According to the former footballer, his expenses exceed one million rubles.
Zhirkov announced his retirement in February 2023. His last club was Khimki. He also previously played for Zenit, CSKA, England's Chelsea, Anzhi and Dynamo.
