RT: Woman Who Tried to Hang Russian Flag in Odessa Now Under House Arrest
Elena Tsersakova, who hung a Russian flag on the pedestal of the demolished monument to Catherine II in Odessa, is currently under house arrest. This was reported by her mother Nadezhda Chesakova in a comment published on the RT Telegram channel.
"Lena is at home now, but she can't leave. <...> Until the trial, she remains under house arrest. I'm trying to get her out somehow. "Go out there for us," she said.
The woman also reported that the lawyer asked her daughter to apologize, but her daughter replied that she had not changed her mind. Nadezhda noted that many people in Ukraine now think the same way as her daughter, but are simply afraid and silent.
