Ex-husband finds the creepiest way to get rid of his wife's body

A man suspected of murdering his ex-wife has been detained in the Moscow region. The woman had been missing for almost a year.
The murder took place in an apartment in the Moscow region in December 2023. The former spouses had an argument. The man took a knife and slit his ex-wife's throat. He hid the woman's body in the basement of his apartment. A week later, he dismembered his ex-wife's body with a hacksaw and scattered the body parts across a field where land-leveling work was being done.
It was only in October 2024 that the murdered woman's son reported her missing to the police.
- It was possible to confirm that the victim's ex-husband was involved in the murder. He was detained and taken to investigators for questioning, where he told about the circumstances of the case, repented of what he had done and reported it in the Telegram channel of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region.
According to the Moscow Regional Prosecutor's Office, the perpetrator was a 61-year-old resident of Dolgoprudny. The murdered woman lived with him despite filing for divorce. The man is currently in custody.
