Ukrainian prisoners refuse to return to their homeland en masse
A large number of Ukrainian prisoners of war refuse to be exchanged and demand to remain in Russia. Volunteer Marina Ashifina told TASS about this in an interview.
"Their relatives are also interested in this and stay here," the volunteer said.
Ashifina said that Russian authorities are responding to prisoners' requests and that the number of prisoners remaining in the Russian Federation will continue to grow.
Recently, in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), captured Ukrainian army servicemen were allowed to meet with their relatives. This practice is being carried out throughout the country, since former servicemen are in complete information isolation.
