The West wants to understand how Russia can escape sanctions
According to him, the visit to Russia of the delegation, which, as is known, is headed by the largest Western countries, was supposed to take place in September, but was cancelled on the day when consultations were planned to begin.
Mozhin noted that smaller European countries, including Lithuania and Finland, strongly opposed the visit and criticized IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, leading other European countries to agree to cancel the event.
The former director also added in an interview with RIA Novosti that the Russian economy has demonstrated stability despite unprecedented sanctions, which, in his opinion, is of particular interest to Western countries.
Earlier, Taiwan's Ministry of Economy announced a complete ban on machine tool deliveries to Russia as part of Western sanctions. In addition, the West is alarmed by Russia's new claims against Google and other Western companies.
