Роспотребнадзор проследит за школами и детсадами после данных о вирусе Коксаки
Rospotrebnadzor has taken control of morning filtering procedures in schools and kindergartens following reports of cases of Coxsackie virus detection in Russian regions, TASS reports.
The department explained that, according to current regulations, this procedure is mandatory during periods of seasonal increase in the incidence of diseases.
As SHOT reported, residents of Moscow, Vladimir Oblast, and Krasnodar Krai complained about the spread of the Coxsackie virus in local kindergartens and schools. In particular, one resident of Vladimir said that a child with the virus was brought to his kindergarten group. Then the children began to get sick one after another, and a total of 20 children were infected.
On November 2, the SHOT Telegram channel reported a major outbreak of an unknown virus off the coast of Belek (Antalya region). According to the channel, dozens of children and adults with fevers above 39 degrees, which do not go away even after taking medication, have been hospitalized in recent days. It is assumed that the cause may be the Coxsackie virus or rotavirus, a variant of Covid. At the same time, doctors are reportedly unable to give an accurate diagnosis to their patients.
