Two Russian governors resigned on National Unity Day
They announced their resignation from their posts via their Telegram channel.
The heads of two Russian regions announced their resignations on Monday, November 4. The governors in question are Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev and Tambov Oblast Governor Maxim Egorov. Both announced their resignations on National Unity Day via their Telegram channels.
"I decided to resign due to a transfer to another job. During my time as governor of the Rostov region, I felt your support," Golubev said.
“Today the country’s leadership gave me another mission at the federal level,” Yegorov said.
