In Malmyzhsky district, a roofer fell from a height during repair work
The investigation into industrial accidents in the Kirov Region has been completed. Details of the incident are set out in a report from the regional office of the National Labor Inspectorate.
The investigation established that on September 10, repair work was carried out on the roof of the enterprise's workshop in Malmyzh. The organization entered into an agreement with an entrepreneur, and the entrepreneur hired workers.
One of them carried out repairs without insurance and with a gross violation of safety regulations. This led to an accident. The 60-year-old man fell from a height and received multiple open and closed fractures.
The State Labor Inspectorate conducted an inspection and found safety violations. It also turned out that there was no employment contract between the entrepreneur and the injured worker. The relationship between labor and management will have to be established in court.
