Residents of Krasnye Tkachi risk freezing again
Residents of Krasnye Tkachi repeatedly asked to clean out the village boiler room. In January 2024, this failed. The repair took a week. In the meantime, more than 2,000 residents were left without heat. With the start of the heating season, the boiler room broke down again. Despite the quick repair, according to residents, the radiators do not heat. District prosecutor Alexey Kornilov went to the scene.
"During the investigation, an assessment will be made of compliance with legal requirements for heat supply to the population, including the question of the legality of the actions of officials, and if there are grounds for this, prosecutorial response measures will be taken," the department said.
