A new recruitment point for contract soldiers for the SVO has opened in Yekaterinburg
A recruitment center for military service under contract opened in the administrative building of the Oktyabrsky district of Yekaterinburg on Tveritina Street. The building was ready for it in two weeks. Out-of-town visitors are promised assistance with hotels and transportation. Information about this appeared on the city administration website.
"We felt that one collection point is not enough for Yekaterinburg and it is necessary to organize work in branches. We are creating it on the territory of the city and providing everything necessary," said the first deputy city director Igor Sutyagin.
The point is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00. Here you can learn about benefits, documents required to conclude a contract and the algorithm for registering a contract. Volunteers will arrange hotel accommodation for guests from other cities and, if necessary, organize transportation.
The building was ready in two weeks. Head of Oktyabrsky District Igor Kostenko added that the branch employees interact with all structures related to the topic. "We work together with the Ministry of Health, hospitals and military registration and enlistment offices. Joint efforts will bring good results. "Our mission is to speed up the process of document processing for those who decide to serve their country under contract," he added.
