IDF officially confirms killing of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar
Sinwar was killed on October 16 during an Israeli military operation in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israel's state television channel Kan reported today on the possibility of liquidating Sinvar, citing sources.
Yahya Sinwar was elected head of Hamas' political bureau in August after the group's former leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in a bombing in Tehran.
