Earlier, Smirnov reported that Russian anti-aircraft gunners shot down two enemy missiles and a drone over the Kursk region.
As reported by the Regnum agency, on the morning of October 17, Russian air defense forces destroyed five Ukrainian drones over the Oryol region. The Kiev regime has been using drones that look like airplanes to attempt terrorist attacks on Russian territory.
Earlier in the day, Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that six drones belonging to Ukrainian militants had been destroyed in the region. According to this, there were no casualties or injuries.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that seven Ukrainian drones were shot down in three Russian regions on the night of October 17. Two UAVs were destroyed in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, and one more in the Voronezh, Bryansk, and Oryol regions.
