The last angel by the famous sculptor Roman Shustrov will be installed on Matisov Island
In St. Petersburg they are planning to install another sculpture of an angel by the famous artist Roman Shustrov.
Anna-Maria Matis, the founder of the "Rose Island" improvement project, told SPB.KP.RU that the last angel, with whom the owner worked shortly before his death, will appear on Matisov Island.
The sculpture is already ready, but all the procedures need to be completed.
Shustrov died tragically in 2021, becoming one of the first victims of the coronavirus. A year later, a sad angel based on his sketch was installed in Karpovka in memory of the doctors who died fighting the epidemic.
Earlier, 78.ru wrote that a monument to lawyer Vladimir Spasovich would appear in St. Petersburg. The monument is planned to be installed near the university's law faculty on an unnamed boulevard on Bolshoy Prospekt on Vasilievsky Island.
