Russia has restricted the import of tomatoes, wheat and melons from Kazakhstan
As reported by Rosselkhoznadzor, from October 17 a temporary ban will be introduced on the import of tomatoes, peppers, melons, wheat, flax seeds and lentils from Kazakhstan. Restrictions for sanitary violations.
Rosselkhoznadzor: “Since the beginning of 2024, the agency has identified 215 cases of quarantine objects in Kazakhstani products. “This is four times more than in the same period in 2023.”
However, the import of wheat, flax seeds and lentils into Russia is not prohibited. However, this cargo must be immediately transferred from the wagon to the ship's hold.
