Journalist Kiselev, who left for Ukraine, owes Russia 80 thousand rubles

Journalist Yevgeny Kiselyov (included in the register of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice and in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring) who left for Ukraine was forced to pay a fine of 80 thousand rubles in Russia. His debts became known from documents available to RIA Novosti.

In 2022, Kiselev was fined 30,000 rubles for "failure to provide information on acts of illegal interference," and in 2023, 50,000 rubles for "violating the procedure for the activities of foreign agents." At the moment, all of the media manager's debts have not been repaid.

In addition, Kiselev has not paid off his multi-thousand-ruble debts on taxes and loans to the Russian Federation. The journalist's total debt exceeds 3.3 million rubles.

On February 22, 2024, Rosfinmonitoring included Yevgeny Kiselev in its list of terrorists and extremists. In the summer of 2022, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs declared Kiselev wanted on criminal charges.

In May 2022, Kiselev was recognized as a foreign agent. The Ministry of Justice stated that the journalist carried out political activities with the support of Ukraine.

Evgeniy Kiselev is a journalist, media manager and political observer. He was the author and presenter of programs on the Russian channels NTV, TNT and TV-6. Since 2008, he has worked on Ukrainian TV, and was a presenter on the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
