Blogger Sergei Kosenko, who threw a two-month-old baby into a snowdrift and posted the video on social media, sold all his property, real estate and assets before leaving Russia. This was reported to TASS by law enforcement agencies.

In January 2024, a video appeared on the Internet showing Kosenko throwing a child into a snowdrift. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a criminal case to be opened on this matter.
According to the blogger's lawyer, the child was not involved in the filming of the video, which was reportedly made using editing and mannequin dolls.
Following this, the Investigative Committee "Pravda" opened a case on charges of "failure to fulfill the duty to raise a minor" and "intentional infliction of serious harm." In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs put Kosenko on the wanted list. Lawyer Alla Georgieva said that the man faces up to 10 years in prison.
During the investigation, the court seized 43 Russian bank accounts of the blogger, the total value of which exceeded 206 million rubles.
